We serve as a direct resource for regional and school-based leadership teams to ensure that each department is actively working toward creating a positive, high functioning work environment where all members of the team may thrive. Areas of support may include new school startup, leadership or instructional coaching, change management, school wide culture, climate and discipline revision, community and stakeholder engagement, hiring, staff retention and evaluation, staff, student and stakeholder capacity building.

A SoL Consultant will conduct a school improvement pre-assessment followed by a turnaround proposal, action and implementation plan. TheSoL may serve as a project manager and/or direct resource for regional and school-based leadership teams to ensure that all decisions are aligned with the goals and strategies of the turnaround plan.

Professional Development

The School of Life provides on-site customized workshops designed to development the character, knowledge, and skills of the conscientious practitioner. Topics include but are not limited to race, gender, class bias, classroom management, personalized learning, and mindfulness.

Other Services

We partner with parents and homeschooling co-ops to provide writing, U.S. History, and African American Studies instruction.
